"It's not about how much you use, it's about where you get it from"

Information
Where can I get my energy from?
From the grid
Not good
Why? Because to make electricity you need to burn coal to drive turbines that are connected to a generator. That sends greenhouse gases up into the Ozone Layer in our atmosphere and destroys it. This increases global warming.
Get some solar panels
Great!
Why? Because it's getting the electricity from the sun which is great. It's also good if you have an electric car. If, on a sunny day, they produce more energy than is needed then sell it back into the grid.
